Jazmine Sullivan

JazmineJazmine Marie, born April 9, 1987 in Philadelphia was an American R&B and soul singer. Fearless the album she released her debut was released in 2008 after she was born and raised in Philadelphia. It debuted on the Billboard's Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums charts and was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America. The album was followed by four singles among them "Need U Good" and "Bust Your Windows" and both are in the top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100 chart; The latter was Sullivan's debut and only number one on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. Sullivan released Love Me Back in 2010 as her second studio album. It was well-received by critics. After a break of three years, Sullivan signed with RCA Records. In 2015 she dropped Reality Show, her first studio album. The album was her first to reach number 1 in the Top R&B Albums Charts. Her critically acclaimed album Heaux Tales, which features the top-selling single "Pickup Your Feelings", is due out in 2021. Sullivan has received two Grammy Awards, a Billboard Women in Music Award, two Soul Train Music Awards, three NAACP Image Awards, and two BET Awards during the course of her career. Time named her among their top 100 influential individuals in 2022.
