She's had prominent parts in several high-rated films and television shows, including Xena, Warrior Princess and Spartacus, Blood and Sand. Her most enduring memory is her performance as Xena. The role was originally meant to be played by the actress Vanessa Angel but ultimately went to Lucy after she was unable to be present because of illness.
